Born and raised in PEI, country singer/songwriter Brooke Macarthur is celebrating a transformative year in 2023. This pivotal period included the release of two impactful singles and granted her the priviledge of sharing stages with acclaimed artists such as the Reklaws and Tim Hicks. From starting out singing at local talent shows at the age of 12 to recently performing at large festivals, including the Cavendish Beach Music Festival and Rock the Boat, Brooke has mastered the ability to captivate a crowd with her unique sound and strong stage presence.
Her love for songwriting started in her late teens, writing relatable lyrics that speak about the truths in relationships while being inspired by artists like Taylor Swift and Shania Twain. Brooke has collaborated with talented songwriters in Nashville and Calgary and has spent the last few years working with the talented CCMA and Juno award winning producer, Jason Barry. With great momentum and more music on the way, Brooke is excited for all that 2024 has to bring.
